This moisturizer gets a lot right. It’s a true gel texture — lightweight, easy to spread, non-sticky. It absorbs quickly without leaving any residue, and the finish is soft and natural, with no tackiness or film. Packaging is user-friendly, and most importantly, the ingredient list is informative and transparent, which is something I always appreciate.
The formula is smarter than it looks at first glance. It builds on a classic barrier-repair trio: ceramide NP, cholesterol, and oleic acid as the fatty acid component. These three (ceramides, cholesterol, fatty acids) mimic the skin’s natural lipid structure and are most effective when used together, helping to restore and maintain the skin barrier rather than just masking dryness.
There’s also niacinamide, which is a superstar ingredient that works wonders for multiple things (barrier repair, pigmentation, oil regulation, and general skin resilience) and not that far down the list, so it's probably present in a non-negligible way. Glycerin and panthenol round out the hydration and soothing, both being great humectants that increase water retention without adding weight.
There is another good synergy detected: AHA + ceramide. The AHA in this case is lactic acid, which is almost certainly present at a low concentration as a pH adjuster rather than an exfoliant. Still, the concept applies: the presence of ceramides and cholesterol helps buffer any potential sensitivity from lactic acid, even at low levels. And though the AHA function is negligible, the pairing still works to protect against irritation.
You also get green tea extract and hydroxyacetophenone for antioxidant support - and what’s not in the formula is just as notable: no fragrance, no essential oils, no filler.
It’s functional, but not boring, and a dream for sensitive skin. It'll work across all skin types too: hydrating enough for dry skin, lightweight and breathable for oily skin. If you have one of those dehydrated-but-oily skin types, this is a comfortable, effective, safe bet.
All in all, it's a great everyday moisturizer for anyone looking for hydration without risking sensitivity. This is a brand I need to be paying more attention to - and paying more to, in general, because I have to try more of their range.
