This is a goat milk cleanser made for sensitive skin — and the formula actually matches the marketing. The texture is thick and dense, more like a cream than a gel or foam. It doesn’t lather aggressively (or much at all), and while it does leave a bit of residue behind, it’s not unpleasant or greasy.
What genuinely surprised me is that it leaves my skin feeling hydrated — not just “not stripped,” but actually soft and comfortable, like I just applied a light moisturiser. That never happens with cleansers. Most so-called hydrating cleansers either feel oily or like they don't cleanse all that well, but this manages to make the skin feel clean while adding a hydrating layer (but not a film)!
The formula includes glycerin, betaine, and multiple sugar-derived humectants for hydration, plus a mix of grape seed, jojoba, avocado, and coconut oils to cushion and soften. The goat milk, lactose, and milk protein add some gentle skin-conditioning benefits, and there’s aloe, rice bran extract, and bisabolol for soothing — no heavy hitters, just a lot of comfort.
Now to be clear, this is not the cleanser for removing heavy-duty makeup, longwear sunscreen, or the sins of a very outdoorsy day. It’s simply not built for that. But for morning cleansing, when you are basically just washing off last night's skincare, it’s perfect.
There is fragrance (and benzyl salicylate, which can trigger some sensitivity), but it's so far down the list that I don't think it'll be a risk for any kind of sensitive-skin user. This is a rinse-off product anyway, so I think the "for sensitive skin" claim still applies.
Overall, this is a soft, low-risk, genuinely hydrating option that does what it claims without being annoying about it.
