Antifoaming

CosIng Definition: Suppressing foam during manufacturing or reducing the tendency of finished products to generate foam.
Antifoaming agents, also known as defoamers, are added to formulations to prevent or reduce the formation of foam during production or use. Foam can interfere with mixing, filling, or product performance—especially in emulsions, serums, or non-foaming cleansers. Antifoam agents work by destabilizing air bubbles or preventing their formation at the surface of the product.
